May 16, 17, 24 & 31 OR  November 7, 8, 15 & 22, 2025


In a four-day (24 -hour) experiential workshop you will explore your own unique world of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic awareness.

Each vision circle  is a realm of Perceptual Awareness, where reside the NATURAL gifts that  we each had as infants but began to lose as we adapted to other  people’s learning styles.


Visioncircles grew out of Dr. Paul Dennison’s and Gail Dennison’s 

extensive knowledge of natural vision improvement. Eight

lively sessions present varied opportunities to explore

the senses and expand perceptual abilities. Vision-

circles provides a roadmap to fulfillment of

developmental skills through movement, 

play, art, and Vision Gym activities.


In "Visioncircles 220" we deeply experience 8 spheres of perceptual intelligence, which continue to be part of our life experience - infancy through adulthood. The power of the 8 balances in this workshop lies in the experience of truly "going back to the basics."  It feels somewhat like re-visiting a happy childhood full of fun learning - with our adult eyes.  As these vital intelligences are re-activated through the Visioncircles movements, our innate abilities become even more integrated.   Benefits include new heights of intelligent focusing, memory, listening, spatial awareness, organizing, self-calming, creating - and even more of the aspects of total vision.  I believe that you will be profoundly surprised and pleased!

CLASS SCHEDULE:
Day One: 9:00am-4pm Central

Day Two: 1:00pm to 8pm or 2:00pm to 9pm (negotiable, depending on the daylight)

Day Three: 9am-4:00pm

Day Four: 9am-4pm

VISIONCIRCLES OUTLINE: DAY ONE

9:00am – 12:00pm Central

 THE OBSERVER

This is the circle where the mind is most active – our "thinking space." 

Vision Gym: Heliotropic Breathing, Soft Edges, Windows, Palming


  • Decoding for reading, encoding for writing, speaking, and grammar usage 
  • Pleasure in reading, writing, poetry 
  • Inductive reasoning and critical thinking used in linguistic activities and mathematical calculations 

1:00pm – 4:00pm THE ANIMATOR 

Chronic stress or tension may indicate that one-sided behaviors have not yet been completed.

Vision Gym: Trust Belt, Knee Hugs, Caterpillar, Three Pumps 

  • Integrated and efficient movement of eyes, head, torso, legs, arms, fingers 
  • Pleasurable tactile and movement experiences 
  • Swimming, dance, gymnastics, other sports activities 




VISIONCIRCLES OUTLINE: DAY TWO
1:00pm – 4:00  THE NURTURER
 

  • Facility of coordinated movement and vision depends on  the relationship of midbrain (emotion), occiput (visual cortex), and  neo-cortex (sensory-motor centers).
    Vision Gym: Digging for Gold, Earth Swings, Artistic Elephant, Elbows 8s, Wings
     
  • 5:00pm – 8:00pm  THE RESONATOR 

Coordination of sound and movement results in agreement between 

our physical expression and vocal expression.

Vision Gym: Cradle, Rainbow, Infinity 8s, Feather Painting 

  • Musical intelligence and the understanding of spatial relationships 
  • Distinguishing tone and pitch for performance and enjoyment of music 
  • Balancing phrasing for speech, oral presentation, singing 
  • Sense of spatial relationships without excessive reliance on visual clues (9.5 hours)
     
  •   DAY THREE

9:00-12:00 THE BUILDER
Vision is ultimately a manipulative skill. By  learning to influence cause-and-effect, one learns to think, to plan,  and to build.
Vision Gym: Butterfly Blinks, Wake-Up Points, Bracelets, Circuits
 

  • Fine-motor control 
  • Adeptness in math, writing, drawing or painting 
  • Skill in cooking, architectural design, engineering, sewing, weaving, editing, etc. 

1:00-4:00 THE INTERNALIZER  

These skills involve experiencing empathy and having a sense of oneself as a person with a distinct personality.
Vision Gym: Deep Vision, Magnet, Swirling Marbles, Spheres
 

  • Setting limits with a strong sense of personal space 
  • Art, poetry, philosophy, writing, inventing 
  • Abilities to relax, play, emote, intuit, imagine, create (8.5 hours)

      DAY FOUR
     9-12 THE COMMUNICATOR
    Communication skills support the ability to establish relationships and social interactions.
     Vision Gym: Focused Nodding, Sunbeams, Talking Fish
     
    • Developing and maintaining intimacy 
    • Ease of coordination between visual and auditory channels 
    • Ability to interpret body language as well as facial and eye expression 
    • Reading, speaking, teaching, lecturing, writing, managing, creating poetry 

    •  1:00 – 4:00 THE SYNERGIST
       This is seeing the whole pattern and being attuned to, or in rhythm with, the world in which we live.
       Vision Gym: Cocoon, Lassos, Circumference
       
    • Moving toward fulfilling the vision of our personal dreams 
    • As part of a community, discovering new possibilities beyond our own individual visions 
    • Mentally exploring possible outcomes, anticipating results 
    • Synthesizing: supervision, choreography, dramatic arts 
    • Thinking encompasses past, present, and future  (6 hours)
